Pre-waxed Wedo Stabilo Wick

Stabilo wicks are amongst the best wicks on the market for scented candle applications. They are used extensively by professional manufacturers throughout Europe and the US. Due to their consistency and technical characteristics, they are often used in a number of applications, including jar candles and pillar candles. Formerly known as CD wicks, the Stabilo wicks are coreless, non-directional, flat braided wicks with a special paper filament woven around them. This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture. The Stabilo series is used in many different appliations and is especially compatible with a highly scented paraffin/blended wax and a harder-to-melt vegetable based wax. The larger Stabilo wicks are also suitable for vegetable wax blends, with Stabilo 14-18 being commonly used in 30cl soy candles. As ever, we recomment purchasing multipe sizes and conducting a slab-test to check suitability for your given application.

All wicks are pre-cut to 120 mm, pre-waxed and are fitted with a 15 mm metal sustainer.

This size chart is a rough guide - different waxes, fragrance and colours all effect the wicking of the candle. Trial and error is the only way to ensure correct wicking.
